June promises to bring lots of family fun to Glasgow, Virginia, as we COMPLETE plans for the third annual RIVERFEST! We hope to see you and your family and friends at what promises to be an even bigger and better series of events, culminating in our three-day Carnival...

MANAGEMENT

TEAM 2011:

Members of the GLASGOW LIFESAVING and FIRST AID CREW (GL&FAC) and AUXILIARY, the SOUTHEAST ROCKBRIDGE RECREATION and PARKS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (SRRPDA) and the GLASGOW VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT have been meeting montly since January to organize this event and coordinate all our activities!

SRRPDA's continuing goal is to raise funds to provide recreational facilities and activities in the Southeast area of Rockbridge County, Virginia. We have already put aside $2,000 for future projects! This area is home of the Natural Bridge of Virginia, which is just 6 miles from Glasgow, and it is where the Blue Ridge Mountains meet with the Maury and James Rivers at the western entrance to the James River Face Wilderness. Come visit!
